Turbosound LMS D6 system processor

The LMS-D6 Digital Loudspeaker Management System boasts superb audio quality and is designed for use with Turbosound Flashlight®, QLight™, HiLight™ series enclosures and TFM series floor monitors.

The Turbosound LMS-D6 consists of two inputs and 6 outputs configurable for many different active system applications in a very compact 1U 19” rack mount package. Both inputs are electronically balanced, and feature delay and gain control. All outputs are also electronically balanced to avoid hum loops.

The high resolution backlit LCD display screen gives an overview of all system functions, while the menu items such as the pre-loaded programs for Turbosound loudspeaker systems are easily selectable via push buttons or rotary control. In addition to the factory pre-set memories, a further 9 user-programmable volatile memories are provided in order to allow even greater system flexibility.

High performance limiters are provided on each output with variable attack and release times enabling both concert touring and permanently installed sound systems to be operated with optimum dynamic range and total reliability. Delays of up to 650ms can be set up on each output with ultra-fine resolution of 2.6µs steps to ensure perfect driver time alignment.

The LMS-D6 is equipped with a unique switching power supply that automatically adjusts to mains input voltages from 90 volts to 250 volts, allowing it be used anywhere in the world without inconvenient mains transformer adjustment.

Variable high pass and low pass output filters can be selected for 12, 18 or 24dB/octave slopes, and a choice of Bessel, Butterworth or Linkwitz-Riley responses. Asymmetrical crossover functions are easily achievable through independent control of the high pass and low pass filters.
